About ISA Australia
ISA Australia provides engaging and exciting study tour programs for students from overseas, taking them all over Australia.
All of our programs teach leadership, cross-cultural communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and a host of other life changing skills, in addition to levelling up English ability.
Our programs help students realise their hidden potential and enable them to have the confidence to pursue higher levels of academic and personal achievement.
Our programs maximise the student’s experience by providing interaction through thought-provoking seminars, engaging classes, cultural excursions, conversations with peers, promoting global awareness, and conducting practical discussions with faculty and student advisors.
History
ISA Australia is a subsidiary of ISA, a Japanese company developed by Masaru Kurahashi in 1970 to promote global education by providing young people with global learning experiences for cultivation and development of their future.
Services include short-term and long-term programs in the Australia for Japanese students, programs in Japan for Australian students, and global education innovation support for educational institutions.
ISA Australia was founded in 1994 to address the need for a local office in Australia to work with partners and to facilitate the ever increasing desire to study in Australia.
ISA Australia is based in Upper Mount Gravatt in Brisbane.
A message from the Director
Getting young people to engage with the world around them is more important than it has ever been. Having engaged young people who want to break outside of the traditional moulds of lives trodden by their forefathers is however the difficult part.
Through our programs we want to ensure the younger generation feels empowered to be able to stand up on their two feet and take the road less travelled. Through specially designed programs students will be given the confidence to continue their language learning and aspire to differing and more dazzling heights.
Being able to instil a pioneering or entrepreneurial spirit which is so needed in the modern world today starts at a young age and requires the malleability of a mind not yet sure of the possibilities in front of them. That is why we at ISA Australia focus on getting the brightest minds in the secondary schools of Japan to meet with brightest minds of Australia’s best educational facilities.
Through these intense interactions, lifetime friendships are made, life-changing assertions are challenged and personal goals reassessed and evaluated. On both sides of the Pacific, we hope to see a greater understanding of not only each other, but of the growing global society in which we live.
